Santa's Express

I love this train. I caught it going downtown on Saturday and it was great! Everyone seemed happy to be on the train. The looks on people's faces when they saw Santa pull into the station were amazing. Kind of like "huh? wow".

I was kind of irritated though. I tried to catch it on Thursday but the schedule online didn't show any times from Harlem to downtown. I think a whole section of times was missing since there seemed to be a big gap in times.

Oh well, I'm glad I caught it Saturday. And that Santa is one of the more realistic Santa's I've seen. His beard looks real - not like one of those fake glue-on ones.

Um, yeah; because he's Santa. The CTA doesn't mess around — they book the real deal, and if your town tries to run a copycat concept with a fake S'Nick aboard, they'll send someone out to crash a truck into it. True story!
